This program converts the Juno Address Book into a comma separarted values file that can be imported into a Yahoo email address book. This allows Juno subscribers to keep their email addresses if they get rid of Juno.

Using the program is very easy, simply create a folder on your desktop called "Juno Convert" and copy the contents of this .ZIP file into it.

Then, run the JunoConvert program and you will be prompted to enter the filename of the Juno Address Book. This is usually found in C:\Program Files\Juno\User0000 and the file is named addrbook.nv. You can press on the small browse button to the right of the entry field to pull up a browse window to select the file.

Once you have selected the file, press the OK button and the file will be automatically converted. The output file will be called ADDRBOOK.CSV and will be placed in the same folder where this program is located.

You can then log into your Yahoo (Or SBCYahoo) email account and click on the Address Book tab at the top of the page (next to the Mail tab). Then, in the upper right of the screen you will see a link that says "Import/Export" (It's between the Sync and Options links).

Select Yahoo! CSV file from the list of import formats and then browse for the location of the ADDRBOOK.CSV file that was created earlier. Click on the Import button and your email addresses will be imported into your Yahoo! email address book.

If you have more than one Juno user on your computer, you will have to process each address book separately.

I hope you find this little utility useful!

Best Regards,

Ben E. Brady
